Nestled in a secluded part of Inhaca Island, our prime location is uniquely positioned across the estuary from Maputo, bordering the famous Hell’s Gate on one side and the pristine Portuguese Island on the other. Inhaca itself is celebrated as one of the Natural Wonders of Mozambique, boasting some of the finest diving, snorkeling, and fishing in Southern Mozambique.
Perched facing west, our lodge offers perfectly symmetrical sundowners as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues. As dusk settles, the bay twinkles with the distant lights of Maputo, creating an amazing and serene vista. Whether you’re cooling off in the rim-flow pool with a refreshing caipirinha or enjoying a barbecue under the sprawling Morula tree, the sheer beauty of your surroundings will continuously amaze you.
Our lodge is designed to be open and well-aired, ensuring guests can fully soak in the incredible vistas across the bay. Even your sleeping experience connects you with nature; large mosquito nets offer protection, while glassless windows invite the cool Mozambican air to soothe your soul as you drift off to sleep. Our open-plan kitchen with its central island is the heart of the lodge – a vibrant gathering point for cooking, drinking, and socializing. Imagine preparing fresh crayfish from the bay, surrounded by the cheerful chatter and laughter of friends and family.
The main house features three unique en-suite rooms, each blending sophistication with natural, rustic minimalism. For a truly wild and romantic experience, our luxurious treehouse in the forest boasts a beautiful en-suite and a private balcony overlooking the canopy. Wake up to the enchanting sight of dozens of bird species beginning their day in the very Morula tree that supports your secluded haven. Additionally, we offer two comfortable bedrooms near the garages that share a bathroom. One features a fantastic three-tiered bunk bed perfect for kids, while the interleading bedroom provides a convenient space for teenagers or parents who prefer to stay close to their children.

For your convenience and peace of mind, we have three permanent maids on duty every day, while our dedicated night guards oversee the property during the evening hours.
